Sillogism

“All men are mortal/Socrates is a man/Socrates is mortal”. Thus goes the saying of a famous Aristotelian syllogism: this is an argument that is necessarily correct, however, it is constructed in stages through which only a little bit of knowledge passes.
There is a laborious push-button-like movement of the tube, fed by a pump that empties the reservoir at the mouth of a tunnel. One can deductively sense that the job is well done.
