For years, NASA scientists have warned that future generations will no longer see snow. Anthropic action is in fact making the slow and natural process of the end of the Ice Age ever faster. As a tribute to Wilson Bentley, the American photographer who first captured the shape of the snowflakes at the end of the 1800s, giving rise to an archive of images exterminated and decisive in conditioning collective imagination on the shape of the snow, I’m intends to build my own personal archive of snow, trying to capture its multiple forms through paintings.
