Di-clusure

spray, Braille text
2013

Dis-clusure is an intervention consisting of two pages
written in Braille, thus going beyond the canonical boundary of the frame by being accessible to the sense of touch, and therefore comprehensible to the blind.
However, their understanding is partial, since it is deprived of the visual work. It is an incomplete event, an inherent desire to open up and be revealed to the outside world, that remains unfinished. This is a more radical phase of critiquing vision that involves a sort of abandonment of vision itself.
